Write a Letter to Your Newspaper in the US

Write a letter to the editor of your hometown newspaper in the U.S., sharing your belief that health care is a right, not a privilege (use your absentee voting address).

It is very easy to send a letter to the editor through the internet.  You can use this handy zip-code look up system to find all the papers and their circulation numbers. You can also write a letter and have it delivered electronically.

When writing your letters, try to keep them under 250 words. Here are some excellent templates to use.   Now is the time to act!

Include a link to the President’s comprehensive web site: www.healthreform.gov

Also, you may want to incorporate some of the facts associated with the differences among G8 countries on eight health care indicators in your letter, as found in Wikipedia.
